A Role is a specific set of configured permissions that can be assigned to a User. When a role is assigned to a User, it will enforce that User's access and abilities within Supportable.
How to Add Roles
Navigate to the Roles module by clicking the icon in the left-navigation bar.
Click the +Add Role button in the upper-right hand corner.
Enter a name for the Role. The name must be unique.
Select the Status as active.
Select any options from the Permissions tree. See Permission Definitions for details. You can use the Permissions filter to type in keywords to narrow down options.
Click the Savebutton.
How to Edit Roles
Please be advised that editing a role will affect any users that are currently assigned that role.
To edit a role:
Click on the action button that corresponds with a role on the list.
Make changes accordingly using the Permissions tree. See Permission Definitions for details.
